What You Bring
Candidates must possess knowledge of P&ID and process instrument/data sheets, hazardous area mapping, instrument sizing and selection, instrument index, I/O list, load list, instrument junction boxes, cable schedules and procurement, skid and conduit wiring, single flow diagrams, control and power cable and gland sizing, as well as cable conduit and tray layout sizing. They also need to understand compliance requirements such as ATEX, IEC, and NEC standards. Applicants should have 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical systems within the oil and gas industry, including preparation of Mod Kits and FMIs, and be proficient in the engineering change request process. • Knowledge of P&ID and process instrument/data sheets • Hazardous area mapping expertise • Instrument sizing and selection skills • Familiarity with instrument index, I/O list, and load list • Experience with instrument junction boxes, cable schedules, and procurement • Ability to design skid and conduit wiring and single flow diagrams • Proficiency in control and power cable and gland sizing • Capability to size cable conduit and tray layouts • Understanding of ATEX, IEC, and NEC compliance • 5–10 years of experience in electrical systems • Experience in the oil and gas industry • Experience preparing Mod Kits and FMIs • Proficiency in engineering change request process
