About the Role

The Resident Project Representative role supports construction projects by ensuring drawings, specifications, and schedules are accurately followed, maintaining daily records, and coordinating with contractors and sub‑consultants. The position works under the guidance of senior staff and may supervise junior representatives and inspectors. • Interpret construction drawings and specifications, flagging discrepancies. • Maintain accurate daily logs of contractor activities, labor, equipment, and materials. • Verify construction materials for contract compliance. • Track quantities and prepare pay estimates for approval. • Lead or attend construction progress meetings. • Observe installation and conduct acceptance testing of equipment and systems. • Identify non‑conforming work, create punch lists, and ensure corrections. • Compile documentation for engineer review and acceptance. • Assist with project audit and closeout procedures. • Supervise junior Resident Project Representatives, inspectors, testing services, and subconsultants. • Read and interpret construction schedules and propose solutions.

What You Bring

The position does not offer visa sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization. • Hold Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification (preferred). • Possess prior construction experience with a consulting firm. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field. • Demonstrated multidisciplinary construction experience. • Understand contracts, codes, and construction laws. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or similar construction software. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
