About the Role
The Technical Liaison/Champion bridges the NESP function unit and the local engineering entity, aligning engineering execution, technical standards, and best practices. The role drives strategic projects such as CO₂ recovery, amine wash, small‑scale LNG, and energy recovery, and leads the creation of an Engineering Excellence Center to boost local capabilities. The role carries direct supervisory responsibilities, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to the local engineering team while overseeing workload distribution and talent development initiatives. • Serve as primary technical interface between NESP function unit and local engineering team. • Integrate FU engineering requirements into local workflows and ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, NFPA standards. • Lead technical coordination for CO₂ recovery, amine wash, small‑scale LNG, and energy recovery projects. • Guide local engineers to produce error‑free designs, conduct feasibility studies, and validate deliverables. • Develop and deliver training programs, mentor engineers, and run workshops on emerging technologies. • Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to function unit leaders and external vendors. • Standardize processes, maintain documentation, and manage technical knowledge sharing. • Identify technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns. • Approve technical solutions, recommend process improvements, and represent the local entity in technical discussions. • Supervise, coach, and mentor engineering staff, coordinating workload and fostering subject‑matter expertise.

What You Bring
Operating in a professional office setting, the position utilizes standard equipment like laptops, photocopiers, and smartphones. Physical demands include regular speaking, close‑vision tasks, and occasional lifting of files or standing on a stool. • Required expertise in CO₂ recovery, liquefaction, amine wash, energy recovery, and small‑scale LNG process design. • Proficient in industry codes (ASME, API, ISO, IEC) and experienced in process optimization and cost reduction. • Strong project management, analytical problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering. • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in strategic energy projects and liaison roles.
