Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform EICR testing and correct C1/C2 observations in void properties. • Conduct reactive repairs of lighting, sockets, fuseboards and domestic systems. • Execute first‑fix wiring and second‑fix installations, including full or partial rewires. • Upgrade electrical systems in kitchens and bathrooms and install electric showers. • Add new circuits and remove unsafe DIY work in vacant homes. • Replace faulty switches, outlets, fittings and circuit breakers. • Meet daily void turnaround targets independently or within a team. • Maintain clean, safe workspaces and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

What You Bring
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not provided. Drivers must be over 21, have held their licence for at least three months and have fewer than nine points. Background, identity and security checks are required. • Hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (including AM2) and City & Guilds 18th Edition. • Possess a clean full UK driving licence. • Have experience in domestic/social housing electrical work. • Hold Inspection and Testing 2391 certification (or equivalent).

The position offers an annual salary up to £42,020.69, a full‑time permanent contract of 42.5 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, 8‑5), and includes a company van and fuel card. The electrician will ensure void properties are electrically safe, compliant and ready for new residents, focusing on testing, repairs, upgrades and preparing homes for re‑let.
