About the Role

This role will lead and manage utility‑scale wind and solar projects, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams, subcontractors, and clients. • Serve as engineering lead/project manager for utility‑scale wind and solar projects • Oversee planning and execution of subsurface investigations and laboratory testing for site characterization • Perform complex geotechnical and soil‑structure analyses for foundations, earthwork, dewatering, slope stability, and access roadway design • Develop and review calculation packages, geotechnical reports, design memoranda, specifications, and research new concepts/technologies • Review project specifications, develop scope of work, schedules, and budget estimates for proposals • Mentor entry‑level engineering staff • Coordinate with multidisciplinary design team, subcontractors, and clients • Perform site tasks requiring sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 lb

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer position is a full‑time role requiring 3‑5 years of experience in energy, industrial, or transportation projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (MS preferred) • Professional Engineering (PE) license (Texas preferred) or ability to obtain within three months • 3‑5 years of experience in energy, industrial, or transportation projects • Active NCEES record (plus) • Strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of soil mechanics, geology, and geotechnical standards • Experience with subsurface exploration, laboratory and in‑situ testing, construction material testing/inspection • Experience in shallow and deep foundation analysis, technical report writing, and contract document review • Experience delivering large geotechnical projects and providing technical leadership • Proficiency with pile drivability evaluation tools (GRLWEAP, CAPWAP, PDA, dynamic pile analysis) • Strong verbal and written communication and project management skills
