About the Role

The QA/QC Lead is responsible for providing technical guidance and solutions throughout project execution, attending the site daily to supervise construction activities, and ensuring that work meets the quality requirements defined by the client and Amana’s quality management system. They develop and maintain a comprehensive Project Quality Plan, lead all quality‑related meetings and site walks, and drive a quality‑focused mindset across the project team through training and continuous reinforcement of standards. The role includes conducting internal inspections, coordinating with subcontractors, testing labs and consultants, managing non‑conformances, and leading the closure process with root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions. They oversee documentation, prepare KPI‑based reports, implement digital inspection tools, and monitor quality data to identify trends, support dashboards, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives. Coordination with stakeholders is essential for scheduling inspections, handling factory and on‑site audits, managing snagging and close‑out activities, and ensuring the accurate delivery of as‑built drawings and handover documentation while leading and mentoring the QA/QC team. • Provide on‑site technical guidance and resolve construction‑related quality challenges daily. • Lead QA/QC meetings, site walks, and training sessions to embed a quality‑focused culture. • Develop, update, and enforce the Project Quality Plan, method statements, and Inspection‑Testing Plans (ITPs). • Conduct internal inspections, coordinate material and work inspections with subcontractors, testing labs, and consultants. • Manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs), perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. • Lead risk identification, assessment, and implementation of mitigation measures throughout the project lifecycle. • Implement and monitor digital inspection tools, ensuring accurate data capture and integration into reporting dashboards. • Prepare KPI‑driven QA/QC performance reports, dashboards, and regular weekly/monthly updates. • Audit subcontractor QHSE performance and oversee major subcontractor work inspections on‑ and off‑site. • Coordinate third‑party testing agencies, verify test results, and submit approved reports to consultants. • Design and execute testing and commissioning plans, overseeing pre‑commissioning, functional, and performance tests. • Oversee the preparation, verification, and delivery of as‑built drawings and close‑out documentation. • Manage snagging and de‑snagging activities, ensuring timely resolution in line with project schedules. • Identify staff training needs, develop training plans, and deliver activity‑specific training on execution methods and quality requirements. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles, reviewing performance metrics to optimize workflows. • Supervise a team of QA/QC engineers, officers, and document controllers to ensure effective project close‑out and handover.
