About the Role
The operator assembles and disassembles parts into subassemblies or finished units while receiving and stocking parts and supplies. Using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, machines, and other equipment, they produce quality products through processes such as assembling, drilling, pressing, testing, fitting, filing, and storing. They also perform visual and manual inspections, ensure proper alignment and tension, record production and scrap, and maintain required production records. Additionally, the operator sets up, operates, and adjusts machinery, interprets drawings and routing sheets, performs SPC, provides personal hand tools, and keeps the work area clean and orderly, ensuring hazardous waste is properly packaged and labeled before removal. • Assemble/disassemble components and stock supplies. • Operate hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and machines to ensure product quality. • Conduct drilling, pressing, testing, fitting, filing, and storage operations. • Perform visual/manual inspections and verify alignment, position, and tension. • Record production output, scrap amounts, and maintain required logs. • Set up, operate, and adjust machinery; interpret drawings and routing sheets. • Execute Statistical Process Control (SPC) as needed. • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of machines, equipment, and work area. • Package and label hazardous waste correctly before disposal. • Sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks for eight hours.

What You Bring
To succeed in this role, the employee must be able to sit or stand for at least eight hours of repetitive work, walk, hear, see, and use both hands fully. Physical capabilities include lifting 50 lb from floor to waist and vice‑versa, climbing steps, and occasionally lifting more than 65 lb, though requirements may occasionally be exceeded. • Lift and move loads of 50 lb from floor to waist and vice‑versa; occasional lifts over 65 lb. • Climb steps and have full sensory and manual capabilities.
