About the Role

Key responsibilities include developing detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on functional requirements and user stories, as well as creating and maintaining test data for functional and integration testing. The analyst executes manual UI, functional, and regression testing, designs and runs automated scripts using tools such as Selenium, Worksoft, BrowserStack, and LambdaTest, and performs integration testing with third‑party systems like ERP and payment gateways. Johnson Controls is seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Test Analyst to join its growing team. The analyst will ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce applications through both manual and automated testing processes. The role collaborates with onshore and offshore teams in an Agile environment, working closely with product managers, owners, developers, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and maintain test cases. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of QA experience on medium to large Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) within an Agile Scrum framework. They possess strong manual testing skills, risk‑based testing expertise, effective communication, and the ability to manage defect lifecycles. Proficiency with automation tools (Selenium, Worksoft, BrowserStack, LambdaTest) and, optionally, performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is required, and Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or Platform App Builder are highly preferred. • Possess 3–5 years of QA experience on medium to large Salesforce projects (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud). • Proficient in manual testing within Agile Scrum methodology. • Strong knowledge of UI validation in Sales Cloud and Commerce Cloud environments. • Effective communication skills to influence quality outcomes across teams. • Experience planning and executing functional, integration, and UAT test scenarios. • Skilled in risk‑based testing and defect management. • Hands‑on automation experience with Selenium, Worksoft, BrowserStack, LambdaTest. • Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification preferred.
