About the Role

The Facility Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining all building systems to high quality standards and ensuring efficient operation of equipment. The role requires the ability to work independently, respond to after‑hour emergencies, and collaborate with the Facility Manager. Daily duties include completing assigned work orders, promptly addressing occupant service requests, and conducting regular inspections of the building and grounds to identify maintenance issues. The engineer follows preventive‑maintenance procedures, orders supplies, records meter readings, and reports progress to the Facility Manager while adhering to life‑safety protocols. • Complete assigned work orders and respond to after‑hour emergency calls. • Address occupant service requests promptly and ensure satisfaction. • Perform routine inspections of building systems and grounds to detect maintenance issues. • Follow preventive‑maintenance schedules and order necessary supplies and materials. • Record and maintain meter readings, and report work status to the Facility Manager. • Apply life‑safety procedures during emergencies and routine operations. • Maintain HVAC systems including FPB, VAV, RTU, pumps, and exhaust fans. • Perform plumbing tasks such as clearing drains and repairing flush valves.
