About the Role
Essential Duties include manually picking up windblown paper along the landfill perimeter, using a mobile vacuum attached to a tractor to collect loose paper, directing truck traffic during busy summer periods, lifting construction materials, and separating metal, white goods, lumber, and cardboard on the tipping floor. • Pick up windblown paper along landfill perimeter and bag it. • Operate tractor‑mounted mobile vacuum to collect loose paper and debris. • Direct truck traffic at the landfill entrance during peak summer periods. • Lift and transport construction materials such as lumber and concrete bags. • Use hand tools (shovels, picks, axes, chainsaws) for site maintenance. • Separate metal, white goods, lumber, and cardboard on the tipping floor. • Maintain required licenses per local, state, federal, environmental, and safety regulations.
