About the Role

Drivers safely operate heavy‑duty trucks on transfer routes, follow WM safety rules, OSHA, DOT, and all laws, complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, report unsafe conditions, and keep customer sites clean after dumping. Drivers work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency, communicate incidents, service interruptions, and customer requests, and assist other drivers as needed. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely on assigned transfer routes. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Follow WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, and service interruptions promptly. • Communicate customer requests and route issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump receptacles, leave sites clean, and complete end‑of‑day documentation. • Collaborate with Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and best practices. • Assist fellow drivers to meet customer needs as directed.

Requirements include at least one year of CDL‑Class A or B (air‑brake) driving or equivalent military experience within the past seven years, being at least 18, legally authorized to work, and a high school diploma or GED preferred.
