About the Role
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: Perform routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of basic scheduling principles and techniques with oversight. This role involves routine planning and scheduling using basic principles under supervision. Assist in drafting schedules using common CPM scheduling programs under oversight. Support supervision by monitoring and updating project schedules. Help site management develop mitigation plans to address scheduling problems. What You Bring
Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software is required. Familiarity with standard construction practices, project sequencing, and plan/specification reading is essential. The role demands creativity, mature judgement, analytical problem‑solving, and initiative to find innovative solutions. Strong active‑listening and communication skills, openness to diverse input, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams are necessary. Travel may be required based on the operating group. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required. Prior experience on construction job sites is preferred. The position requires physical abilities such as sitting, walking, standing, lifting, climbing, and using computer equipment, with exposure to outdoor conditions and indoor environments. This person must be capable of reviewing a jobsite multiple times daily. • Read and interpret plans and specifications effectively. • Communicate actively, listen, and incorporate diverse feedback. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. • Prior construction site experience is preferred. • Meet physical requirements including standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to outdoor conditions.
