About the Role

The Leasing Associate is responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations. Leasing Associates handle lease signings and act as landlords for property owners. The role may require extended sitting, climbing stairs, reading documents and screens, and occasional lifting of items up to 20 lb. Work is primarily in an office setting, though occasional outdoor exposure and a noisy open office environment are possible. • Respond to phone and online inquiries, schedule virtual, self‑guided, and in‑person tours. • Qualify prospects using lead management software, assist with applications, deposits, and ensure Fair Housing compliance. • Maintain availability reports, process applications with credit checks and rental‑history verification. • Conduct property showings, close leases, prepare units for move‑in, obtain signatures, and provide orientation. • Promote the community on social media to increase visibility and engagement. • Address resident complaints and service requests promptly to boost satisfaction and retention. • Generate leads, host resident events, and participate in after‑hours functions to foster community. • Complete all lease, move‑in, and check‑out paperwork accurately and timely. • Collaborate with maintenance team to resolve service requests according to company standards. • Meet marketing budget goals using strategies such as competitive rates, referrals, promotions, and outreach.

What You Bring

Candidates should have an associate’s degree or equivalent, or 6‑12 months of related experience, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and property‑management software. A valid driver’s license is required. • Must be able to sit for extended periods, climb stairs, read documents/screens, and lift up to 20 lb; must possess a valid driver’s license.
