About the Role

• Manage all under‑construction homes, completed unsold sites, on‑site trailer area, and overall community. • Coordinate on‑site construction activities without supervision, interacting regularly with division departments and city inspectors. • Study project specifications, plans, and scopes of work to effectively oversee each project. • Schedule trade partners and inspect their work for quality compliance. • Manage material orders and deliveries to align with project schedules. • Prioritize labor and equipment resources to prevent delays. • Supervise Assistant Builders as needed. • Address workforce complaints and resolve customer problems. • Conduct daily physical inspections of each house to verify progress and safety standards. • Oversee completion of walk‑through items and ensure adherence to company quality and safety methods. • Maintain up‑to‑date scheduling and payment systems to ensure timely trade‑partner compensation. • Read and interpret blueprints accurately. • Follow industry‑standard job site safety practices.

What You Bring

The Builder also ensures that scheduling and payment systems remain current so trade partners are paid promptly. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and two to five years of practical construction experience managing multiple projects. Strong organizational and management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize and resolve problems are essential. A solid grasp of local building codes, construction methods, material identification, and all phases of new‑home construction is required, as is the ability to read and interpret blueprints and adhere to industry‑standard safety practices. Physical demands include lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and traveling to multiple sites with varying weather, noise, and potential hazards. • Demonstrate organizational, detail‑oriented management skills and effective timeline management. • Apply knowledge of local codes, construction methods, material identification, and new‑home construction phases.
