About the Role

Interns will help with hazard recognition throughout the project, assist in daily THA preparation, ensure daily inspections are completed, and attend project safety meetings with the Safety Specialist. They will also confirm the appropriate PPE is in use on the project. Interns will complete focused observations on the project and input forms into ProCore project management software. Before the internship ends, they will create and present a self‑reflection PowerPoint detailing industry knowledge, career goals, and personal growth to their management team. Participation in the Lunch & Learn internship program provided by the MYR Group Internship Leadership team is also required. • Perform hazard recognition and assist with daily THA preparation. • Verify completion of daily inspections and attend safety meetings with the Safety Specialist. • Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used on site. • Conduct focused project observations and enter data into ProCore software. • Create and deliver a PowerPoint self‑reflection presentation on industry knowledge and career goals. • Participate in the Lunch & Learn internship program hosted by MYR Group. • Practice and improve industry skills while learning effective workplace habits.

What You Bring

Candidates must be a college sophomore or higher pursuing a related undergraduate degree, or a trade‑school student, and if recently graduated, be within one year of graduation. No prior experience is required. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, presentation ability, organization, detail orientation, independent and team work, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and professional communication with employees and business contacts. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas.
