About the Role

Key responsibilities include consulting with clients to assess energy requirements, designing tailored solar solutions with the engineering team, leading the sales process, building stakeholder relationships, conducting market research, and achieving sales quotas. • Conduct thorough consultations with commercial clients to assess their energy requirements and identify opportunities for solar solutions. • Analyze energy consumption patterns and assess the feasibility of solar installations for prospective clients. • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and engineer commercial solar solutions tailored to clients' specific needs. • Prepare detailed proposals, including system design, energy production estimates, and financial analysis. • Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and project implementation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including facility managers, business owners, and decision-makers. • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team to enhance the company's competitiveness in the commercial solar sector. • Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. • Continuously identify new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships for repeat business.

As a Commercial Solar Sales Manager, you will drive the adoption of solar energy solutions among commercial clients by leveraging technical expertise to understand their energy needs, design customized solar solutions, and communicate the value proposition of our products and services. This role blends engineering acumen, sales skills, and a passion for renewable energy. The ideal candidate has proven commercial solar sales experience, strong knowledge of solar energy systems, excellent communication skills, the ability to translate technical concepts into value propositions, familiarity with renewable energy regulations and incentives, and a record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Proven experience in commercial solar sales or a similar technical sales role. • Strong understanding of solar energy systems and their applications preferred. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling value propositions for clients. • Familiarity with relevant regulations, incentives, and policies in the renewable energy sector. • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
