About the Role

• Repair and replace ADA operators, manual/swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow‑metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors. • Service a variety of door equipment and control devices, performing preventative maintenance and handling emergency exit devices. • Manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining detailed, process‑driven work. • Provide professional, customer‑focused service in both team and independent settings. • Maintain a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.

What You Bring

The current opening is for an Automatic Door Service Technician. The role involves servicing automatic doors, including repair and replacement of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow‑metal and storefront doors, as well as automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors. AAADM certification is preferred, and candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience. Candidates must possess proficient knowledge of a variety of door systems and control devices, along with carpentry skills for partition framing and door/window installation. A strong mechanical aptitude, clean driving record, positive professional attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints are required. The position demands detail‑oriented work, adherence to processes, and a service‑focused approach to customers, whether working independently or within a team. Experience with door manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy is advantageous. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can perform preventative maintenance, and is comfortable handling emergency exit devices and other commercial door hardware. • Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing with metal/wood studs and install doors and windows. • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automatic door installer or service technician; AAADM certification is a plus. • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a positive, professional attitude. • Experience with manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy is desirable.
