About the Role
This position will be responsible for leading and executing Kraus‑Anderson’s business development and project planning go‑to‑market strategies for the Healthcare market sector across all of KACC (metro, non‑metro offices, and other future markets). The role will collaborate with all offices, BD, DOOs and Construction Executives to develop and deliver successful execution of healthcare go‑to‑market strategies and project delivery, supporting profitable financial growth of the Healthcare market sector. • Develop and implement go‑to‑market strategies for the Healthcare sector in collaboration with DOOs and Construction Executives. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities. • Mentor and empower business development, project planning, and project management teams. • Standardize processes and best practices across cross‑functional teams for Healthcare construction services. • Manage the annual healthcare marketing budget and set sales goals with DOOs and the Construction Executive. • Execute strategies to achieve profitable growth through cost management, resource allocation, and revenue improvement. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring services exceed expectations. • Pursue new business development and expansion opportunities within Healthcare and maintain industry association ties. • Collaborate with executive leadership and regional directors to align strategies and share insights. • Analyze performance metrics to identify improvements and make data‑driven decisions. • Communicate clearly with stakeholders. • Use computer equipment in an office setting. • Navigate office floors and attend off‑site meetings.

What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Public Relations or related fields, and at least 10 years of senior leadership experience in the construction industry with a focus on project planning and development. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of the healthcare market sector, construction team roles, project management, leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and proficiency in relevant software and communication skills. The position demands the ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing, stand or sit for extended periods (50%+), use a computer in an office environment, navigate office floors and attend off‑site meetings, and lift up to 25 lb unassisted. Kraus‑Anderson is an AA EOE, including disability and veteran status. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. • Minimum 10 years senior leadership experience in construction, focusing on project planning and development. • Deep understanding of the Healthcare market sector and construction project management. • Strong leadership, team‑building, and strategic thinking abilities. • Financial acumen to drive profitable growth. • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office. • Excellent verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and uphold company values and ethics. • Healthcare‑specific business development or construction experience (preferred). • Travel at least 50% of the time. • Stand or sit for extended periods (50%+). • Lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
