About the Role

Mortenson is seeking a Laborer responsible for preparing, handling, and supplying materials to other crafts on construction projects. • Load and unload equipment. • Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5x7x16) and staging; level ground for scaffolding. • Tend mortar and grout; lift, unload, move, set, and shovel between wheelbarrows and buckets. • Perform general cleanup, debris removal, sweeping, washing, and disposal or burning. • Place, push, pull, shovel, and vibrate concrete. • Build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. • Perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements.

What You Bring

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; the company does not offer sponsorship for this position. • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb; over 50 lb requires assistance or equipment. • Completed a two‑year apprenticeship. • Construction experience preferred. • Proficient with power and hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies. • Demonstrate strong teamwork, positive attitude, customer service, detail orientation, active listening, and effective communication.
