About the Role
The role supports technical and specialized tasks related to electrical and control systems, including analysis, detection, and repair of single loop control systems, electronic devices, communication systems, and instruments such as meters, gauges, and regulators. The incumbent assists in testing, surveying, layout work, and develops reports documenting results. Position is with a Regional Service Organization and may require up to 30% travel. Responsibilities include locating and fixing defects in control systems that involve electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components, using wiring, schematic, logic, or control diagrams, as well as performing low and medium voltage circuit breaker checks, interlock adjustments, and related repairs. • Locate and repair defects in electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic control systems using schematics and diagrams. • Perform low and medium voltage circuit breaker interlock checks, adjustments, and repairs. • Conduct preventive maintenance on batteries, motors, compressed air systems, forklifts, electric heaters, and similar equipment. • Record test data, generate reports, graphs, sketches, and compile project documentation. • Utilize the work management system to request parts, create work orders, and track work histories. • Obtain permits, install and remove grounding as directed, and follow all safety regulations. • Travel up to 30% to other facilities as schedule dictates.

What You Bring
The candidate must hold an associate degree in electronics or a related engineering/science field, or a high school diploma combined with two or more years of relevant military experience, or five or more years of industrial electrical or controls experience. Experience in installation, inspection, repair, adjustment, calibration, and servicing of instruments and controls is required, along with the ability to read and interpret simple prints, sketches, and specifications. Additional requirements include a valid state driver’s license, successful completion of the Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) test, and a physical abilities assessment. The role demands medium physical effort, such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions, while adhering to all federal, state, local, and company safety, health, and environmental regulations. • Hold an associate degree in electronics or related field, or possess equivalent experience and relevant certifications. • Possess at least five years of industrial electrical or controls experience (or equivalent military experience). • Maintain a valid state driver’s license and pass the Plant Maintenance Selection System test. • Demonstrate ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and work in varied environmental conditions.
