About the Role
The Assistant Property Manager is expected to uphold the highest integrity, handle resident concerns with a customer‑service mindset, communicate disruptions, perform inspections and courtesy calls, and use marketing tactics to attract new renters. Additional duties include monitoring leasing metrics, managing financial transactions, ensuring timely rent collection, maintaining property appearance, overseeing make‑ready status, and supporting the Property Manager in staff training and motivation. • Uphold personal and professional integrity, adhering to company policies and legal regulations. • Resolve resident concerns with a positive, customer‑service approach and conduct inspections and courtesy calls. • Communicate upcoming property events or disruptions to tenants promptly. • Market the community, show units, handle inquiries, and complete leasing paperwork. • Collaborate with leasing team to meet occupancy goals and analyze traffic, conversion, renewal, and marketing data. • Manage financial aspects, including rent collection, posting, deposits, and maintain accurate transaction records. • Ensure property appearance, coordinate repairs, and verify make‑ready status daily. • Assist Property Manager in training, motivating, and onboarding on‑site staff. • Maintain knowledge of OSHA regulations.

What You Bring
Candidates need a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), 2‑3 years of property‑management experience, Fair Housing certification, strong computer skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. HOA experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations are a plus. • Possess a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred). • Have 2–3 years of property‑management or related experience; HOA experience is a plus. • Obtain Fair Housing certification before interacting with prospects or residents. • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet research, and property‑management software. • Be able to work evenings and weekends and present a professional appearance.
