About the Role

• Drive KPI performance to achieve Butler and OEM excellence objectives. • Lead customer experience initiatives, improve service quality, and address feedback promptly. • Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, dealers, and sales representatives. • Identify needs for special tooling, equipment, and vehicles. • Champion a safety culture and ensure a safe work environment. • Coordinate with the parts department on backorders, returns, and inventory stocking. • Support service managers on goodwill matters. • Oversee contamination control, including onboarding, continuous training, and monitoring. • Manage career development, hiring, and termination for managers, advisors, and technicians. • Monitor and recommend capacity and capability strategy with Store and Product Support Managers. • Provide additional service support to other regional stores as needed. • Share best practices and implement common processes across the service department. • Provide leadership direction, communicate effectively, and foster teamwork. • Align with organizational goals, collaborate with other departments to improve overall performance. • Partner with HR to manage staffing, workforce development, employee communication, and relations. • Organize, delegate, and communicate responsibilities to ensure department success. • Give regular, timely feedback to recognize performance and motivate self‑development. • Select, train, and develop employees, providing career coaching aligned with department goals. • Maintain a clean driving record.

The manager will oversee the entire service department and collaborate with the Regional Product Support Manager and other internal and external partners to develop personnel and achieve operational‑excellence goals. • Hold a two‑year degree or equivalent experience/training (preferred). • Have prior supervisory or service management training (preferred). • Completed Butler Lead Yourself program (preferred for internal applicants). • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. • Possess strong oral and written communication abilities. • Understand financial statements. • Proficient with computers. • Exhibit leadership, attention to detail, and organizational skills. • Possess mechanical experience (preferred). • Willingness to work flexible hours.
