About the Role

Independently executes expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of construction and engineering materials and equipment, applying standard procedures and sound judgment to monitor supplier performance, resolve delays, and coordinate logistics. This role directly supports supplier evaluation, schedule adherence, and overall project efficiency. Key responsibilities include communicating with vendors, preparing expediting reports, monitoring fabrication schedules, and coordinating material deliveries with construction management. The incumbent also assesses supplier performance and addresses logistical issues to maintain project timelines. • Initiates and maintains communication with vendors to confirm delivery schedules for materials and vendor data • Prepares and maintains expediting status reports and other assigned reports • Monitors actual progress against detailed fabrication and manufacturing schedules • Identifies and resolves discrepancies related to delivered materials and equipment • Participates in project review meetings to report on material and equipment delivery status • Coordinates with suppliers and construction management to align deliveries with project requirements • Supports the assessment of supplier performance • Identifies and escalates logistical issues promptly for effective resolution • Coordinates and communicates project hold points among suppliers, the project team, and procurement • Attends and participates in meetings as assigned

What You Bring

A minimum of two years of work experience is required, with experience in expediting, procurement, or business administration duties preferred. Candidates should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred. • Minimum of two years of work experience required; experience in expediting, procurement, or business administration preferred • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred
