About the Role

Leads, directs and coordinates the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project. The Superintendent has supervisory responsibility for Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns and trade labor in his/her area of responsibility. Reports to the Project Superintendent, Project Manager or Project Executive. • Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing levels for trade work. • Coordinate assigned trades and resolve procedural, design, labor, and equipment issues. • Manage site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards and regulations. • Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns, including performance appraisals. • Create work schedules, determine sequencing, and implement recovery strategies to maintain project timeline. • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers to address and resolve field issues. • Oversee billing for Work In Place, including monthly estimates, payroll, material invoices, and subcontractor payments. • Ensure work installation complies with approved contract documents and specifications.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree plus a minimum of six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Required knowledge includes building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office and EH&S applications. Applicants must be able to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules, and demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills. Full‑time travel is required. The role occasionally requires climbing stairs, ladders, and using construction hoists, as well as lifting up to 50 lb. Vision requirements include close, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. The job involves using hands, sitting, standing, walking, and other movements while performing duties on a construction site.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $80,000 – $110,000 USD annualized.
