About the Role

The Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains plant equipment, supporting the plant’s business goals. The role focuses on heavy‑duty and medium‑duty truck transmission production machines, requiring both mechanical and multiskilled electrical/control expertise. Daily duties include diagnosing problems with machine and OEM software (e.g., Fanuc robots, NC/CNC equipment, PLCs), replacing or repairing parts, and performing preventive and predictive maintenance as scheduled. Technicians read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, mechanical blueprints and work orders to execute maintenance, while contributing to continuous‑improvement initiatives, maintaining a 6S work area, and reporting safety or material issues. • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment for truck transmissions. • Diagnose issues using machine and OEM software (Fanuc robots, CNC, PLCs) and replace or repair components. • Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, mechanical blueprints, manuals and work orders. • Support continuous‑improvement efforts and maintain a 6S workplace. • Report safety concerns, unusual conditions, or defective materials. • Train continuously to adapt to new machinery and technology.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years’ manufacturing maintenance experience and training in mechanics, electricity and automation, or an associate’s degree/certificate with additional experience. Required skills include electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, CMMS proficiency, knowledge of Siemens/Fanuc NC systems and Allen‑Bradley PLCs, and strong written and oral communication. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of the site (except active‑duty military) and will receive standard company benefits subject to eligibility. • Minimum high school diploma/GED; 2+ years manufacturing maintenance experience or associate’s degree with relevant experience. • Proficient in CMMS asset management software and knowledgeable in Siemens/Fanuc NC systems and Allen‑Bradley PLCs. • Must reside within 50 miles of the work location (exempt for active‑duty military).
