About the Role
• Install and repair various commercial doors using appropriate tools and equipment. • Diagnose and perform routine repairs on door components such as springs, hinges, locks, and electrical parts. • Install and configure door hardware, including locks, handles, closers, and access‑control systems. • Ensure all installations comply with safety and building code regulations. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and explaining repair processes. • Maintain accurate service records and generate required reports. • Troubleshoot technical door issues and propose cost‑effective solutions. • Conduct quality checks on installations and repairs to meet company standards.

What You Bring

Applicants may have door experience or be entry‑level with no experience. As a Service Technician you will install, repair and maintain a variety of commercial doors and related hardware, ensuring efficient and safe operation. Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential to meet customer needs. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be able to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders to 20 ft and work on knees for extended periods. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills and a customer‑service mindset are required. • Industry‑best training on commercial/retail doors, hardware, storefront glazing, and industrial dock equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license with clean record. • 2+ years commercial door service experience (preferred) and knowledge of door types and hardware. • Ability to use hand and power tools; lift 50 lb, climb ladders to 20 ft, work on knees for extended periods. • Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, math, measurement, communication and customer service skills. • Attention to detail, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety regulations.
