About the Role
Daily responsibilities include participating in Tier meetings to communicate material status, coordinating with engineering, quality, and internal materials teams, and reporting supply‑chain problems promptly. The planner assists in issuing lines‑down reports and works with suppliers to resolve inventory and part‑flow issues for fabrication and assembly areas. Material planning duties involve developing material requirements for assigned commodities using SAP data, planned orders, and purchase information. The planner supports critical‑need activities, plans purchase orders and JIT materials, and maintains A, B, and C inventory policies to ensure material availability for production while controlling freight costs. The role requires collaboration with buyers and vendors to resolve supply issues, ensure timely deliveries, and coordinate transportation activities while adhering to Toro’s freight policies and cost‑time optimization goals. Continuous communication with both internal teams and external partners is essential for smooth operations. The position works closely with the planning team and multiple suppliers, requiring professional interaction in both one‑on‑one and group settings. What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with 1‑3 years of manufacturing experience preferred, strong verbal and written communication, critical‑thinking, and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office with the ability to learn ERP systems. Preferred qualifications feature a bachelor’s degree, 2‑4 years of SAP and material‑planning experience, and strong interpersonal abilities for cross‑functional teamwork. • High school diploma/GED; 1‑3 years manufacturing experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication, critical‑thinking, and organizational skills • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with SAP and material planning desired • Ability to prioritize tasks, work with urgency, and adapt to variable plant conditions

Compensation ranges from $20.80 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience and location, with options for early pay via Daily Pay.
