About the Role
As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you will shadow other roles to gain awareness of all site‑based activities and an understanding of the whole housebuilding process. You will play a key role in quality control, health and safety, resource management and commercial controls. You will also be involved with various aspects of the customer journey throughout the development life‑cycle, and if you lack a relevant qualification you may work towards a nationally recognised one. • Ensure site compliance with health and safety, NHBC standards, building regulations, and overall quality and presentation standards. • Maintain site presentation and housekeeping to the ‘Miller Standard’ and Miller Production Procedures. • Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers and partners to achieve KPI targets. • Plan and arrange NHBC and Building Control inspections for stage approvals. • Promptly investigate and address customer complaints during the production cycle. • Coordinate with the Development Sales Manager, Buying Department, customers and sub‑contractors on supply and installation of customer choices. • Assist the Site Management Team and Customer Service Manager in resolving customer concerns. • Support the Site Management Team in managing sub‑contractor work quality and manufacturer‑supplied materials. • Build and maintain strong working relationships.
