About the Role
The role involves setting up and removing cones, signs, and barricades, directing traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and maintaining clear communication with crew and supervisors. You will also keep vehicles and equipment clean, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be ready for flexible shifts that may include nights, weekends, or emergency calls. • Set up and take down cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment. • Direct vehicle flow using a stop/slow paddle while monitoring site activity. • Follow all safety protocols taught during training. • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment. • Work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions. • Be prepared for flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergency calls. • Arrive on time for every shift and stay alert around moving traffic. • Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect.

What You Bring
A valid driver’s license, the ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 lb for 8–12 hours, and a willingness to work in traffic and changing weather are required. Candidates must pass a drug test and pre‑hire screening, demonstrate punctuality, and treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect. • Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors. • Stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift and lift 40–50 lb. • Hold a valid driver’s license and pass a pre‑hire drug screening. • Advance to Senior Protector, Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, or Manager roles.
