About the Role

• Partner with hiring teams as recruiting lead and strategic business partner. • Drive Employee Referral Program across Central region, lead toolbox talks and engage Group Recruiting Champions. • Design and implement aggressive sourcing, advertising, and targeted diversity recruitment strategies. • Lead national recruitment initiatives, process improvements, and cost‑effective methodologies to reduce agency fees. • Maintain consistent physical presence in regional offices and job sites to build relationships and assess talent needs. • Organize and participate in targeted hiring events, professional networking conferences, and on‑site recruitment activities. • Track candidates for compliance, measure applicant flow, and report source effectiveness. • Collaborate with HR partners on salary recommendations and offer negotiations. • Provide weekly recruiting updates to leadership outlining pipeline health and bottlenecks.

What You Bring

The recruiter will split time between a professional office setting and active construction sites, requiring up to 20 % travel within the region. Physical duties include extended periods of desk work, occasional lifting of files or equipment up to 10 lb (occasionally 25 lb), and navigating dynamic site conditions. All activities must follow Clark’s safety policies and applicable regulations. Strong communication and visual acuity are essential for reviewing detailed documents and collaborating with field leadership. • Demonstrated ownership and ability to manage full‑life‑cycle recruiting autonomously. • Deep sourcing experience with strong organizational, follow‑up, and attention‑to‑detail skills. • Willingness to travel up to 20 % within the region to offices and construction sites. • 2+ years agency or search‑firm recruiting experience. • 2+ years corporate recruiting experience. • Experience managing multi‑state or multi‑location regional territories. • Proficiency in competency and behavioral interviewing, CRM, programmatic job advertising, and labor market insight tools. • Familiarity with Workday ATS (preferred). • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of focused desk work and lift/move objects up to 10 lb regularly (up to 25 lb occasionally). • Comfortable navigating quiet‑to‑moderate office settings and dynamic construction sites with exposure to weather, noise, and moving equipment.
