About the Role

• Champion an inclusive safety culture aligned with company values. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and OSHA licensing requirements. • Lead and improve company‑wide safety programs, policies, SOPs, and management systems. • Conduct hazard assessments, risk mitigation, and safety audits across office, surveying, environmental, and construction activities. • Develop and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation and specialized certifications. • Investigate incidents and accidents, produce reports, and implement corrective actions. • Manage workers’ compensation claims and partner with HR on safety matters. • Track and report safety metrics, OSHA logs, and regulatory submissions. • Lead the Safety Committee, facilitate meetings, and communicate safety initiatives company‑wide. • Oversee PPE, vehicle and equipment inspections, medical surveillance, and emergency planning.

What You Bring

Fisher Associates is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Manager to lead and continuously improve the company‑wide safety program across office and field environments. This role supports multidisciplinary teams delivering surveying, environmental, engineering, and construction inspection services, and requires a strong background in OSHA compliance, risk management, safety training, and regulatory reporting. • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety/Health or equivalent experience. • Minimum 3 years managing multi‑state safety programs for a 200+ employee organization. • OSHA Construction Safety, First Aid, and CPR certifications. • Strong knowledge of OSHA and related regulations for engineering, surveying, environmental, and construction services. • Experience with A/E or professional services and contract safety review. • Familiarity with ISO standards, Safety Management Systems, Avetta, and ISNetworld. • Proven ability to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and drive compliance. • Demonstrated leadership influencing safety practices across offices and job sites. • Ability to deliver effective health and safety training. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; GIS/database experience a plus.
