About the Role
• Act as Engineer of Record for structural components of projects. • Collaborate with structural engineers, designers, draftsmen, inspectors, and the department manager. • Coordinate with in-house civil and environmental teams on multidisciplinary projects. • Manage contracts and coordination with external consultants (surveying, geotechnical, MEP). • Review and oversee design plans, calculations, and specifications. • Facilitate communication with clients, contractors, and agencies. • Supervise construction engineering inspections, submittal reviews, and compliance verification.

What You Bring
The role seeks an experienced Professional Engineer focused on structural engineering design to produce calculations and designs for multi-family buildings, seawalls, docks, and park structures. The engineer will oversee both design and construction phases, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, code requirements, budgets and timelines while supporting client relationships. This position reports to the Structural Department Manager and collaborates with multidisciplinary in-house teams and external consultants. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (expected May 2026). • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license preferred. • Completed internship performing structural design work. • Demonstrated strong communication and organizational abilities.
