About the Role
The Insulation Installer position involves applying insulating materials and surface claddings to a variety of equipment, preparing surfaces, and adhering to safety processes. On‑the‑job training is offered, and the role is considered safety‑sensitive. • Apply insulating materials and surface claddings to pipes, vessels, tanks, ductwork, and equipment. • Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces and access holes using plastic covers, canvas strips, sealants, tape, cement, or asphalt mastic. • Determine the amount, type, and method of insulation required. • Fit and shape insulating materials. • Measure and cut insulation with tape measures, handsaws, knives, and scissors. • Use tools such as pin snips, cutting shears, knives, and channel locks to install insulation. • Read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements. • Prepare surfaces for insulation application. • Load, unload, and stage materials in proper site areas.

What You Bring
