Financial Accountant

About the Role

The Financial Accountant reports to the Finance Manager and is a detail‑oriented, analytical team member responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. The role is central to month‑end and year‑end close processes, the preparation of financial statements, and audit coordination. • Prepare and maintain financial records according to IFRS/GAAP. • Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes. • Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules. • Reconcile general ledger, bank, balance‑sheet, and intercompany accounts. • Ensure tax compliance and assist with filings. • Support internal and external audits with documentation. • Monitor and analyze financial data to spot discrepancies and trends. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Improve accounting processes and internal controls. • Collaborate with internal departments for accurate reporting.

What You Bring

• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is a plus. • 2+ years of financial management or accounting experience. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and leadership skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
