About the Role
HKS Fort Worth is hiring a Project Manager for its health team. This primary managerial role leads a specific project, influencing revenue and growth while managing people, processes, and tools. The manager also teaches and mentors staff, embodying the firm’s values and mission. The Project Manager acts as the main client liaison, building strong relationships through deep understanding of the project’s mission, goals, policies, and progress. They oversee the execution and delivery of implementation documents across all project phases, including post‑occupancy evaluation and lessons learned. Collaboration on design—from programming client needs through construction administration—is a core responsibility, as is coordinating internal and external team interactions. The manager monitors risks, conducts code and zoning analysis, and works with the PIC, legal team, and client to resolve issues. The role includes mentoring staff, managing performance, and fostering a diverse, healthy team environment. It also requires oversight of project budgets, cost projections, invoicing, and schedule maintenance to ensure deliverables align with financial targets. The manager may support business development by identifying opportunities and aiding proposals. • Serve as primary client liaison, understanding project mission and goals. • Lead execution of design and construction phases, including post‑occupancy evaluation. • Coordinate internal and external project teams and manage design solutions within budget, schedule, and code constraints. • Conduct risk monitoring, code and zoning analysis, and resolve issues with legal and client teams. • Mentor staff, manage performance, and promote diverse talent development. • Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, invoicing, and schedule adherence. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, assist with proposals and marketing.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an accredited architecture degree, with registration strongly preferred, and possess at least eight years of experience across all design and construction phases. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, parametric and performance analysis software, as well as MS Project and Teams, is required. Advanced knowledge of sustainable design, building systems, QA/QC, codes, constructability, and accessibility is essential. • Hold an accredited architecture degree; licensure preferred; 8+ years experience. • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, parametric and performance analysis tools; skilled in Microsoft Project/Teams. • Advanced knowledge of sustainable design, building systems, QA/QC, and building codes.
