About the Role

• Lead multidisciplinary teams of project managers, engineers, designers, and field personnel. • Identify project risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies. • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering and construction issues. • Prepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, and cost estimates. • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. • Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with sub‑consultants and clients. • Manage, supervise, and schedule program execution across multiple projects. • Monitor productivity, quality, financial health, and overall progress. • Lead safety initiatives and enforce program safety compliance. • Report project updates to clients and provide professional recommendations. • Mentor, develop, and evaluate staff members within the organization. • Train Project Coordinators, Senior Project Coordinators, and Project Managers in best practices. • Travel as required for project needs and client engagement. • Coordinate with area agencies, municipalities, and governing jurisdictions for approvals. • Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, Deltek, and SharePoint for project management. • Guide engineering design teams through all phases of project design. • Lead complex program execution with comprehensive productivity and quality oversight. • Develop risk identification and mitigation strategies at a strategic level. • Provide professional development in contract negotiation and client relationship management. • Deliver safety leadership with organizational impact. • Serve as senior‑level client interface for program updates and recommendations. • Obtain professional certification support for CAPM/PMP credentials.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a valid PE license. • Possess 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in utility design. • Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite. • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience leading and mentoring less‑experienced staff in a team environment. • Ability to meet time‑sensitive deadlines and manage multiple priorities. • Familiarity with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and jurisdictional requirements. • Expertise in contract negotiation and management. • Capability in program management and financial oversight.
