About the Role
The Engineering Manager is a functional and strategic leader responsible for detailed troubleshooting, understanding work design requirements, and managing experienced, self‑motivated engineering staff by balancing empowerment with direction. The role involves active participation in requirements planning, customer expectation management, solution delivery, and problem resolution. The position is based in the North Canton area, includes domestic relocation assistance, and does not provide work‑visa sponsorship. • Provide technical and engineering input for new business proposals. • Manage electrical and mechanical engineering workload to meet critical customer deadlines. • Maintain proper records and documentation. • Offer electrical engineering subject‑matter expertise to clients and advise internal groups. • Serve as technical interface to customers during project execution. • Direct tests, analyze results, and document findings. • Recommend major changes in procedures or objectives. • Administer and review work from outside consultants, ensuring analytical soundness. • Lead engineering review of customer specifications and translate them into safe, high‑quality, compliant equipment/systems. • Consult or negotiate with customers to finalize engineering project specifications.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred). • 10+ years of related engineering experience, including leadership of an engineering team. • Knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems. • Knowledge of medium and low voltage power distribution equipment. • Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, NEC and related industry standards. • Expertise in power system analysis and calculations. • Understanding of power system components and their specification. • Proficiency with CAD, parametric and BIM modeling tools. • Strong organization, supervisory, managerial and leadership abilities. • Familiarity with ISO policies and safety regulations. • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Proven multitasking ability in fast‑paced, high‑demand environments. • Strong analytical and computational skills; results‑driven mindset.
