About the Role
The Building Maintenance Assistant at Cushman & Wakefield supports maintenance operations and ensures a quality move‑in experience for residents. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and represents the company with professional customer service. The position involves routine upkeep of interiors and exteriors, including painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs, and snow removal when needed. The assistant also maintains common‑area amenities such as pools, hot tubs, dog parks, and grounds. The work environment combines office tasks—using computers, phones, and filing equipment—with field duties that may require climbing stairs, traveling between properties, and handling up to 50 lb loads in various weather conditions. • Perform painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and snow removal as needed. • Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests. • Maintain pools, hot tubs, common areas, dog park amenities, and grounds in safe, operational condition. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. • Follow all safety policies, read manuals, and write routine reports and correspondence. • Travel between properties in varying weather; lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb regularly. • Participate in required training programs and adhere to company appearance standards.

What You Bring
Successful candidates must possess basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and be familiar with state and federal fair‑housing laws. A high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and EPA 608 Type II or CPO certification are required. • Apply knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, and fair‑housing regulations. • Hold a high school diploma/GED or trade/technical certification; possess a valid driver’s license. • Obtain EPA 608 Type II, CPO, or equivalent local certification.

Benefits
