About the Role
The accountant will perform accounting functions associated with recording transactions and producing financial statements for assigned business units, covering areas such as general accounting, benefits, payroll, payables, G&A, accounts receivable, accruals, and allocations. They will provide accounting support to shared services departments, prepare daily journal entries and monthly account reconciliations, attend meetings as needed, conduct monthly variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements, and assist in preparing and reviewing internal and external audit requests. • Perform general accounting tasks for assigned business units • Handle benefits, payroll, payables, G&A, accounts receivable, accruals, and allocations • Provide accounting support to shared services departments • Prepare daily journal entries • Conduct monthly account reconciliations • Attend meetings as required • Perform monthly variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement • Assist with preparation and review of internal and external audit requests
