About the Role

The resident engineer will be the client’s first point of contact on‑site, responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and general building services support, working independently but backed by a wider team to ensure a safe, efficient and compliant facility. The role operates a rotating shift pattern of five days on and two days off, 40 hours per week, including on‑call duties (one week in every four) and work on bank holidays. • Minor plumbing and fabric maintenance • Deliver exceptional service to clients

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has 18th Edition or HVAC experience, hands‑on M&E or multi‑skilled engineering background, strong communication and organisational skills, and health and safety awareness. Desirable qualifications include PPM delivery experience, F‑Gas, IOSH Working Safely, basic plumbing, fabric maintenance, and 2391 testing & inspection. • Electrical and fire alarm testing • Compliance with health and safety regulations • 18th Edition or HVAC certification • Hands‑on M&E or multi‑skilled engineering experience • Strong communication and organisational abilities • Experience delivering planned preventative maintenance • F‑Gas qualification • IOSH Working Safely certification • Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance skills • 2391 testing and inspection competence
