About the Role
In this role you will draft, convert, produce, and edit plans and other CAD/BIM deliverables, supporting designers and engineers throughout the project lifecycle. You will also review BIM models for coordination and assist with the management of Revit files and projects. • Draft and generate redlines for plans, diagrams, and schedule drawings in AutoCAD/Revit. • Provide design assistance and calculations to designers and engineers. • Produce drawings that adhere to CAD/BIM standards and project guidelines. • Modify architectural CAD/BIM files for MEP design, including clean‑up and troubleshooting. • Review BIM models for coordination using Revit and Navisworks. • Support the BIM manager with Revit template setup, family creation, and staff assistance. • Prepare project packages for client submission. • Manage and organize Revit files and project data.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has an associate’s degree or trade‑school training, 7–10 years of CAD/BIM experience with an MEP firm, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Effective organization, the ability to prioritize workload, teamwork, and strong communication skills are essential. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades and proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and various file formats is required. • Associate’s degree, trade‑school completion, or equivalent training. • 7–10 years of CAD/BIM experience in an MEP firm. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. • Ability to interpret drawings, floor plans, sections, and elevations. • Basic drafting skills and experience handling multiple file formats. • Strong organizational, prioritization, teamwork, and communication abilities. • Familiarity with at least one MEP trade (mechanical, electrical, or plumbing). • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Reader.

The salary range for this position in California is $61,432–$92,148 USD and will be adjusted based on experience, skill set, and location.
