About the Role
In this role you will engage in activities such as tree climbing, condition surveys, BS5837 assessments, impact assessments, method statements, forestry, woodland management, planting, valuation, canopy cover and biodiversity net gain. You will receive internal and external training within a mentoring and coaching framework, allowing you to develop specialised arboricultural expertise. • Undertake tree surveys for planning purposes and to assess tree condition • Prepare arboricultural reports to BS 5837:2012, Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA) and Arboricultural Method Statements (AMS) • Prepare Tree Condition Reports • Provide technical arboricultural advice and support for internal and external teams and clients • Work independently or with other arboricultural and environmental professionals in planning, delivery and management of arboricultural services • Undertake arboricultural site monitoring and supervision works to discharge planning conditions

What You Bring
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of arboricultural principles, including BS5837:2012, BS8545:2014 and BS3998:2010 • Show competency in tree identification, inspection, condition assessment and management options • Hold a Technicians Certificate in Arboriculture (or equivalent Level 3/4 qualification) or higher • Know relevant UK legislation, best practice and policy relating to arboriculture • Maintain a full clean UK driving licence (essential for remote sites)
