About the Role
• Lead and develop the Upchurch Service LOB Accounts Payable team, handling hiring, training, performance management, and workflow prioritization. • Oversee end‑to‑end AP operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor maintenance, and expense reimbursements. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. • Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated invoice, payment, and reconciliation issues. • Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability. • Partner with Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, and Operations to support month‑end close and financial reporting. • Prepare and analyze AP metrics, aging reports, and KPIs, presenting insights to leadership. • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and process explanations. • Travel to regional offices to support AP operations, training, and standardization initiatives.

What You Bring
The Accounts Payable Manager for the Upchurch Service line of business will oversee all aspects of the AP function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments. Based in the Dallas area, the role involves periodic travel to regional locations to support operations, standardize processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong process‑improvement skills and experience managing AP teams in a multi‑location environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of progressive AP experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. • Experience managing AP in a multi‑entity or multi‑location environment (preferred). • Strong knowledge of AP best practices, internal controls, and GAAP. • Proficiency with ERP systems and AP automation tools such as SAGE and SharePoint. • Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. • Ability to travel as required. • Strong leadership presence with influence across functions and locations. • Detail‑oriented with ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
