About the Role

A Driver – CDL (A) safely operates heavy commercial trucks, tractor‑trailers, or straight trucks with a pup trailer to deliver and remove large containers. The driver ensures vehicle compliance with Company safety standards, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Operate the truck safely along the assigned route to disposal sites. • Use manual/automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others. • Perform minor container repairs on site or in the yard. • Tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures. • Monitor waste for unacceptable materials. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Continuously monitor vehicle condition and clean waste from containers each trip. • Complete route, productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports. • Meet productivity standards to service customers efficiently. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Participate actively in the ReSOP program. • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and honesty. • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely. • Follow through on schedules and resolve challenges. • Adhere to company policies and safety standards without taking inappropriate risks.

What You Bring

Environmental solutions capabilities help customers manage technical waste streams, with growth opportunities such as PFAS remediation and geographic expansion of services. • Preferably have two years of commercial truck driving experience. • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude for minor container repairs. • Hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s license with air brake endorsement.

Union hourly pay is $32.00. The pay range for this position varies from $22.95 to $31.57, depending on the locality, reflecting minimum wage requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
