Project Director (Data Center)

About the Role

The Project Manager will lead delivery of the core and shell of construction projects, prioritising safety, schedule, cost, quality and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating project guidelines, managing commissioning and integration activities, and coordinating with vendors, contractors and internal project controls. It will also coordinate vendor performance against cash‑flow forecasts in partnership with Project Controls. The role also involves active client engagement, contributing to communication plans and community involvement, while overseeing any applicable SOX control requirements. Candidates should have more than 15 years of construction project management experience, preferably with data‑centre exposure. The position may include responsibilities for SOX controls, ensuring compliance where relevant. • Deliver core & shell of projects with focus on safety, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance. • Ensure projects meet up‑to‑date guidelines and standards, incorporating lessons learned. • Update and edit project delivery guidelines as needed. • Manage commissioning and integration activities, coordinating resources, vendors, and contractors. • Coordinate and review vendor performance relative to cash flow with Project Controls support. • Participate in client communication plans and community engagement. • Oversee SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
