About the Role
The Resident Project Representative serves as TBE’s on‑site presence during construction, ensuring that daily activities comply with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory standards while facilitating communication among contractors, airport staff, and designers. • Provide on‑site representation for TBE during construction phases. • Monitor and document daily construction activities for contract, specification, and regulatory compliance. • Prepare daily reports, field notes, photographic documentation, and quantity tracking of contractor work. • Coordinate and attend construction meetings with airport staff, contractors, and designers. • Review contractor payment applications, submittals, and RFIs. • Verify quality control measures, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules. • Assist with materials testing coordination and tracking. • Communicate field observations and issues to the design team and airport personnel. • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, and record drawings. • Interpret engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents for heavy civil infrastructure projects. • Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all work.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma (or higher), possess a valid driver’s license, and have at least five years of field experience on airfield construction contracts, or an appropriate engineering degree combined with relevant experience. Proficiency in reading civil infrastructure plans, familiarity with FAA advisory circulars, strong oral and written communication, and the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge are required. Bilingual English/Spanish ability is preferred. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and obtain approval to operate in the active Air Operations Area (AOA). • Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years of airfield construction field experience, or an associate/bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction with relevant experience. • Apply knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airfield construction. • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication, teamwork, analytical, and organizational skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. • Pass a background check and obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
