About the Role

• Design new or rehabilitate roadway projects from concept through final design. • Prepare construction documents, plans, specifications, and cost estimates per NJTA/NJDOT standards. • Participate in client meetings, proposals, presentations, and coordinate with regulatory agencies. • Manage project communication, schedule, budget, and progress across concurrent tasks. • Support local marketing, proposal development, and professional society involvement.

What You Bring

We have an opening in Piscataway or Bloomfield, New Jersey for a Civil Engineer specializing in highway design. The role focuses on NJTA and NJDOT standards and involves preparing construction documents for transportation projects, covering conceptual, preliminary, and final design phases. It is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least six years of experience. • Possess an active NJDOT Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Demonstrate experience with NJTA and NJDOT design standards and procedures. • Proficient in MicroStation V8i, Bentley OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
