What You Bring

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Scheduler I to perform routine planning and scheduling assignments that require basic scheduling principles and techniques, with oversight, for its Operating Groups. The role involves supporting project teams by drafting and updating schedules, and assisting site management in mitigating scheduling challenges. Postings remain open a minimum of five days, averaging 44 days. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and Mortenson does not accept unsolicited agency solicitations. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. • Prior construction site experience preferred. • Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, and related software. • Understanding of standard construction practices and project sequencing. • Creative problem‑solving and mature judgment. • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. • Collaborative, cross‑functional teamwork skills. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; seek innovative solutions. • Excellent active listening and communication, open to diverse input. • Highly organized with a strong desire to learn. • Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Power Project (a plus).

Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $78,800 – $98,500, with higher ranges for certain locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C. Base salary is determined by knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity, and the position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
