About the Role

Your daily duties will include operating cleaning machinery and performing thorough cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping. You may clean interiors—floors, toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies—and exterior areas like trolley bays, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed. Full training will be provided. • Clean store interiors (floors, toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies) and exterior trolley bays. • Operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums and floor scrubbers. • Apply health and safety procedures during all cleaning activities. • Provide an eye for detail and a positive attitude; prior cleaning experience is advantageous but not required.

We are hiring a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Helston store on a fixed‑term contract lasting until March 2026. The position is 18 hours per week, paid at £12.21 per hour, with an immediate start available. Sainsbury’s stores operate 7 days a week and we offer flexible shift patterns, including 5‑ and 6‑day weeks. The current schedule is Monday to Saturday, 17:00‑20:00, with Sundays off, and overtime opportunities may increase your hours.
