About the Role
The Head of Cost Management in New Zealand will lead and expand the cost‑management capability across the region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role involves overseeing key client relationships, building new market opportunities, and growing the local cost‑management team. The position also carries responsibility for commercial performance, business planning, and the delivery of complex project portfolios while modelling the firm’s purpose, vision and values. • Lead and nurture existing key client relationships. • Generate new client and consultant opportunities in the New Zealand market. • Drive growth and development of the cost‑management team as a senior leader. • Maintain commercial performance and meet all deliverable commitments. • Contribute to business planning, target setting, and strategic initiatives. • Oversee delivery of a diverse portfolio of complex projects. • Exhibit Turner & Townsend’s purpose, vision and values daily.

What You Bring
• Hold a recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. • Possess MRICS or NZIQS accreditation (preferred) with 15+ years of cost‑management consultancy experience. • Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English and strong report/bid writing skills.
